Only 20 minutes from the city and 10 minutes from the shimmering beaches of Coogee, is the neighbourly suburb of Kingsford. This ultra-convenient destination with everything on it’s doorstep, is a popular address for students and home owners, who love being so close to it all. 

Kingsford’s central spot between Randwick and Kensington to the north, Coogee to the east, and Maroubra to the south, gives it a distinct advantage when it comes to accessing an array of services. 


At it’s heart (on Anzac Parade), you’ll find the major roundabout “Nine Ways,” connecting the entire public transport bus service for the eastern suburbs, and giving you access to nine possible destinations. 

Right next door, one of Australia’s leading education institutions, The University of New South Wales, is a labyrinth of activity and passionate students. Whilst, a little further afield, the major Eastgardens Westfield Shopping Centre, delivers a collection of department stores, supermarkets and specialty stores, for avid shoppers.


The cultural diversity in this happy hub, guarantees there are plenty of local grocery stores, food markets and neighbourhood stores, all supplying it’s busy residents. What’s more, when it comes to leisure time, Kingsford locals are perfectly spoilt for choice.

There’s Dacey Gardens, a beautifully landscaped space (on the corner of Bunnerong Road and Gardeners Road) offering shaded park benches and a reflective space away far from the bustle of Anzac Pde. Paine Reserve, next to Rainbow School in Randwick, has a sports field and a playground with lovely shaded spots, whilst the generous Kensington Park is home to a picket fenced cricket oval, children’s bike track and modern playground.

Kingsford offers a wide range of affordable eats and handy takeaway restaurants to suit all tastes. 

Chow down at some of the areas best asian eats such as Kingsford Chinese Restaurant, Niji Sushi Bar, or Ayam Goreng 99. Ubud is popular for it’s tasty Balinese cuisine and Giovanna Italian Restaurant & Pizzeria, is a great alternative, when you’re seeking a switch from the abundance of Asian flavours.
